Hi there, my name is Stacey K. Yabes!
I am a lifelong learner with a passion for creativity and learning development based in Portland, OR. I have 14+ years of experience integrating technology in education using hybrid learning models.
My background in technology and design, supplemented with a role as an educator, has strengthened my ability to support blended learning environments and innovative approaches to academia.
Some of my current involvement includes:
- Assisting department directors and CEO with establishing policies, procedures, and best practices from enrollment to graduation for an online public high school serving the entire state of Arizona
- Training staff on use of CMS, LMS, and productivity software
- Instructing/managing Art and Elective courses for multiple cohorts of students, from ages 14 to 22, in grades 9 through 12 using our collaboration tools and online LMS
- Documentation and creation of walk-through and visual guides to aid training and instruction for staff and students
- Managing/updating website and document compliance in accordance with the Arizona Department of Education for all organization entities that include corporate, elementary, online, and 6 brick-and-mortar high school locations
- Coordinating and designing digital and print projects from brainstorming concept stages to completion
